And again, ARGH!!!

There I was, doing a stretchy bind-off on a pretty little one-skein shawl (pictures to come eventually, I promise) and ...

I ran out of yarn!
*sigh*

There were a grand total of 8! stitches! left to do, and I was down to approximately an inch and a half of yarn.

Talk about frustrating. I tinked back the entire bind-off row (took me about 90 minutes) and tonight, I guess I'll go back one more row in order to get enough yarn to finish it off.

I wanna block it this weekend, so I hope I can get it finished tonight.

In other news, the Eris is also almost done. All I have left is to weave in the ends and graft together the cuffs. I've been putting it off, because I don't want to do the cuff grafting. I made such a mess of the body hem. Maybe I'll take it down to Lettuce Knit and see if I can get some help. Hmmm. Or maybe I'll go over to Mary's Yarns on a lunch hour - I'm not sure if I can get help there, but it would be worth it to try, I think. They're usually pretty quiet over lunch, so hopefully I can get some help. I'm so close to having that sweater finished, and yet so far away...
